Community Gardens Walk
Explore the East Village Historical Community Gardens with us, you will be surprised how many are hidden in plain sight!
These spaces are tucked away right off busy streets, offer an oasis in the city and a place to reconnect with land.
We will guide you on a route through: Liz Christy Garden, Miracle Garden, Kenkeleba Sculpture Garden, 6BC Botanical Garden, Sixth Street and Avenue B Community Garden, The Creative Little Garden.
Meeting and ending point is at Fire Escape Dispensary on Avenue A.

Walk through the first community garden created in 1974 by Liz Christy, as well as some other local little hidden gems
5:00 PM — Chill + Shop back at Fire Escape
Wind down, relax, and say goodbye after our walk through historical community spaces

Pace: Moderate | 1.8 miles 60 mins
We move at a comfortable but steady pace through NYC streets, with 1–2 collective pauses along the way. Please be mindful of city traffic and stay with the group. If you have an ailment that requires a slower pace, just let us know the day of the walk and we’re happy to accommodate.
